ACT NOW

Producers in Tennessee who are interested in implementing conservation practices to improve natural resources on their farmland can submit their application for financial assistance through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program with an extended deadline for select practices through November 14, 2025.

Tennessee will implement an extended funding opportunity for select practices through the CPA, DIA, and CEMAs, soil health, urban, socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers, and high tunnel ranking pools. NRCS Tennessee will be utilizing an ACT NOW approach. Based on the availability of funds, applications with a score greater than a pre-determined threshold will be preapproved once assessed and ranked until funds have been expelled.

  • ACT NOW- Socially Disadvantaged Farmer/Rancher (25.0 – Minimum Threshold Ranking Score)
  • ACT NOW- High Tunnel (65.0 – Minimum Threshold Ranking Score)
  • ACT NOW- CPA, DIA, and CEMA (46.0 – Minimum Threshold Ranking Score)
  • ACT NOW- Urban (40.0 – Minimum Threshold Ranking Score)
